BOTOX/DYSPORT

Botox and Dysport are neurotoxins also known as wrinkle relaxers. They are used to soften the muscles responsible for creating wrinkles from repetitive motions like squinting. By relaxing the muscles, you will no longer be able to produce the movements that cause a wrinkle to form.

Common areas include: Glabella (11s), Forehead, Crows Feet, Lip Flip, Chin, Masseters, Brow Lift.

All injectable appointments include a 100% free consultation to help educate you and ensure optimal results.

FAQ

What is the difference between Botox & Filler?
This is actually a very common question as both Botox and Filler are injectable treatments. Botox belongs to a family of products called neurotoxins (which also includes Dysport, Xeomin and others). These neurotoxins are used to treat wrinkles that are made from repetitive movement rather than the “aging” process. Repetitive movements like raising your brows or squinting cause wrinkles to begin to etch into your skin. Neurotoxins inhibit that muscle movement therefore not allowing you to continue to make that face and continue making the wrinkle. Suggested dosing is 3-4 times a year to keep those pesky wrinkles away.

Filler, on the other hand, is used to replace volume loss or deficits. This lack of volume may be due to the aging process or just an aesthetic choice where you would like to have a bit more volume (such as in your lips, cheeks or jaw line) Filler is made mostly of hyaluronic acid which naturally occurs in your body and is extremely well tolerated. With an artful eye, mixed with the science of safety in mind, filler can be used to enhance your facial features and create a beautiful facial balance and structure. There are many different types of fillers to choose from and it is imperative that you choose a medical professional that understands and knows the proper use, placement, and technique for the best results. In addition, choosing a provider with an artful eye for facial balance will ensure you are happy with your filler.
